Do you have any comments for this question that is haunting me?
Do you think that if we are reincarnated until we reach enlightenment, I will return as a big burly guy with many responsibilities and work and people depending on me, with no time for foolishness or dreamwork, not very attractive and not able to change the empathy and artistry that I have in my soul?
Also, do you think Mtheory will be a delicate pretty little sex kitten with brains like a science major who is encouraged instead to be a majorette and twirl a baton and never get dirt under his nails and have to work hard at diplomacy to keep from causing strife?
Any viewpoints will be appreciated. This is hypothetical, of course so please no religious outrage OR fanaticism, okay?

I believe in reincarnation, but not exactly the way you put it.
You see, I also believe in souls. To me, our souls are not what make us smart or pretty or strong. They are what determine how we feel, how we act, and how we remember.
I think of souls as immortal. While we may die, our souls do not. Instead, they are in a sense, recycled, and in time, placed in the body of another person, to live another life.
I don’t believe our souls carry any memory of past lives, but they stay the same, regardless of the differences in each life.

As Socrates thinks it, until you have reached true enlightenment, your reincarnation will reflect how well you’ve lived your previous life. If you lived a good, virtues, life, you will be reincarnated at a higher state of a person, so thus capable of reaching further into enlightenment then in your previous life, and building that up, you’ll eventually live to see true enlightenment. But if you life a bad, un-virtues life, you would be reincarnated as an animal or bug, or a lowly person.
That is to say, if you believe in reincarnation.

I think it is not for us to know some of these things and you are a very deep thinker. Empathy… you must take care who you give this to for some will take advantage. The artistry in your soul will always be there
I must decline commenting on the part about Mtheory because I feel you are relating this to your own life, which I know nothing of. It takes the right kind of information to give that kind of advice. I do know that I feel your frustration and diplomacy is my life’s story. It can make your soul feel tired. I feel as though I live my life to make everyone else happy, even though all the negative makes me unhappy. I have to be the mentor, the mediator, the referee, and I feel as though I am not even allowed to get the flu and let myself be sick. Like if I were to leave here all would be chaos without me. This truly is a big sacrifice and because I had given up on love I tried to find ways to keep my mind busy. But now I am 40 and even though I have one child, I have many that I do things for every single day. Only two kids left to turn 18 and one is my own son. Some have moved and some are planning on it. After this… what is next? I shall miss them dearly but I shall welcome a bit more calm. I feel I shall be lost, but I will figure it out when the time comes (I hope). So you see many of us have their souls frustrations and many thoughts in our heads. We just have to figure out what it is we really need (notice I said need not want) and find a way to make it so. It seems to me that reincarnation may be possible
by virtue of circumstantial evidence there is a case for it
I have speculated as to how this would be possible in accord with the know laws of nature
the foremost cause being the probablity of occurrence that the accounts of reincarnation are the result of coincidence between perceived past lives that are similar to the lives of persons that actually existed are not outside the realm of possibility
the trouble is rarely are accounts of past lives that can not be correlated to actual persons that were known to exist that are widely available for statistical analysis
so that we hear more about the stories that support the case for reincarnation
and little about the stories that can not be collaborated
I am not saying that there is not some means for consciousness to remain intact and enter into the body of a developing fetus
I am just saying that the above rates top as most likely
