i think something is wrong with my cat?
His left eye is really red, and this watery discharge comes out. The other eye isn’t red but the watery discharge is also there. It seems like he has trouble breathing. He sneezes ALOT. Does anyone know what can be wrong?
Take him to a vet, its the best thing you can do. If your cat is having problems breathing then getting the medicine he needs will be best. If not Mr. Whiskers could have some issues.

My cat suffered from the same thing and the same signs recently .I brought him to the vet and it turned out he had conjunctivitis, which could lead to blindness if not treated. The vet gave me and an eye cream that i had to use twice a day in my cats eyes.Unpleasant but had to be done. The sneezing also may be part of a flu it might have picked up also, it all comes together.I wouls suggest you bring your cat to the vet ASAP, just to be safe. Hope this helps.

It sounds like you cat is either having an allergic reaction to something or even just plain allergies or has an upper respiratory infection. Either way you need to have a vet look at him asap.

My kitten had the same symptoms and it was an upper respiratory infection, that can VERY quickly get out of hand and really bad if not treated. Take your baby to the vet. If it is indeed an upper respiratory infection, the vet will give you a salve for his eyes and antibiotics to administer to him like 2-3 times a day. It’s totally treatable and easily treatable, just please get him the meds fast before he gets really bad. Good luck!

Could be an allergic reaction, or just allergies.
Could be a upper respiratory infection.
Could be Conjunctivitis.
Could be the flu.
any way it is take him to a vet. ASAP. as most of these things, if left alone, can be bad.(blindness, death) yeah.

Talk about Deja Vu. My cat just had the same problem about 3 weeks ago. Her eyes were full of gunk and she couldn’t breathe through her nose at all and it’s really bad for cats to breathe out of their mouths.
If you can’t afford a vet, buy some eye drops and would put a drop in each eye 3 times a day and also take a wet wash cloth and clean his eyes as often as you can. As far as the breathing goes, you just have to keep his nose clean and try to pick the excess snot off of his nose when you notice it caking on there. My cat got better in about a week or so but she still sneezes sometimes but I can tell it’s getting better. A lot of cats get allergies around this time too, so just make sure you keep water in his bowl and keep him well fed. Also, try to make sure he stays warm at night. Good luck!
