OK i have a mini dobie she is 9. My friends found her laying in the road not moving or anything.
When i took her home she was breathing real heavy and yelped real load when i picked her up.
She eats real well and walks she walks with a big limp. all she does is SLEEP! when she gets up to walk she just stands their a while. I am low on money and can not afford a vet please help with as much info as possible. Is their any free vets i am located in The Woodlands Texas. Thanks so much

It sounds like she was hit by a car, maybe. Only a vet could tell you the damages, but she could have broken a leg (hence the yelp and limp), as well as gotten some internal injuries, which could be much more serious. Find a way to get her to the vet, she needs and deserves to be seen by someone who can help her.

You need to take her to a vet regardless. Most vets offices will work out a payment plan. If not you need to surrender her to a no kill shelter if option just mentioned cant work. You cannot have a hurt dog and not seek it help. That is inhumane. They will fix her at a no kill shelter and find it a family who can afford it. No offense, but it is better for the dog that way!!

There is no such thing as a Mini Doberman. You mean Miniature Pinscher? Your dog is very injured and needs to see the veterinarian immediately. You will not get free vet care. They are providing a service that requires compensation. You are neglecting your dog. If you cannot afford the care she desperately needs, surrender her to a breed specific rescue (a Min Pin rescue) and they will do what is right by her. She probably got hit by a car because she was roaming around off leash. As about a payment plan, apply for care credit, surrender her, or if you can’t do any of these things, have her put down and end her obvious pain. Good grief.

TAKE HER TO AN EMERGENCY VET or surrender her to the emergency vet or any dog rescue. She deserves a RESPONSIBLE owner if she lives!!
She’s most likely bleeding internally and without the vet she will die. Please, don’t ever own any more dogs and surrender her/rehome her if she lives

Borrow it, sell something, go to carecredit.com and apply and use that to pay the vet. You can try to ask for an installment plan from your vet, most vets understand if you explain your financial situation.

She has probably been hit by a car and needs vet attention. She is in pain and could have internal bleeding as well. Call emergency vet hospitals and ask where she can be looked at for a lower fee.

Your dog was probably hit by a car. didn’t you even think about this when found laying in the road? didn’t you even think that maybe she has internal injuries when she yelped after picking her up? didn’t you think the heavy breathing was an indication of pain or distress? did you not learn anything in the 9 years you owned your dog. she’s limping, she’s hurt. she may have a concussion, bruised lungs, fractures, broken bones, internal injuries, she could be dying. you need to borrow money from family and friends or sell something or call your local humane society to get some help in getting her medical treatment. she needs to see a vet and she needs to see one now, not tomorrow or next week. Sorry if this sounds harsh but your dog is in bad shape and needs medical treatment.

yea no free vets unless u turn her in to the ASPCA.. they will take her and fix her right up… if you leave her untreated and someone finds out someone can turn you in the the aspca and then ull get fined and or put in jail for animals cruelty(failure to give medical treatment to your pet) so i would call around for the best areas alot of vets do payment plans.. so i would ask and shop around for the best deal

are you plain stupid, the dog needs medical attention, if you can’t afford to get medical attention for your dog you don’t need to own a dog, FREE VETS you have to be kidding.
if you can’t afford to take your dog to the vet then take it to the humane society and give it up for adoption, you are a very irresponsible pet owner, give your dog to someone that can afford to take care of it and take it to the vet when it need medical attention. I still can’t believe you are not taking that dog to the vet.

Obviously she was hit by a car! If she is sleeping a lot she is most likely in a lot of pain! Listen and see if you hear her grinding her teeth, if so she is in major pain! Pain or no pain take her to a vet immediately. There are something called ‘payment plans’ you need one! Take her to a Emergency vet now!

Because if so they’re rather delicate with their long backs and such so get her to a vet ASAP, or if you have a doctor friend they could probably asses whether or not anything is broken but really a vet is the best option.
